About The Show

We're Kyle Yates and McClain Parker, two friends from the Midwest who love to talk about movies! We decided to record our conversations, where we chat about all aspects of film ranging from blockbusters, indie flicks, childhood favorites, and new releases. We also talk about other topics too, so that's thrilling.

You can find our podcast episodes here, as well as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube!

  • Kyle Yates is the co-host with a superb mustache and an affinity for skinny jeans. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, with a minor in Writing, excelling in all of his classes with prowess and finesse. Kyle started to really enjoy discussing movies around 2018, when he wouldn’t stop talking about Keanu Reeves, and has done his best to catch up with all the renowned classics he’s missed out on over the years. He also enjoys writing pieces of fiction, and is working towards eventually publishing his work. Kyle can oftentimes be found in the wild throws of a nighttime parking lot, ranting incessantly about his longing of the limited edition Dr. Pepper Dark Berry flavor whilst wearing all black clothing.

  • McClain B. Parker. Alias “The Milkman”. Born a long time ago (but not too long relative to experiences experienced). For as long as he can remember, he has loved film. Starting at a young age, McClain loved watching movies with his brother and dad. Ranging from silly to scary to Bill Paxton, he’s always had a passion for movies and understanding stories (still, perhaps, lacking the latter of the two). His passion for movies still grows as abstract thoughts start to scour his brain, albeit no one has determined whether good or bad. The one thing that can be said is he’s always enjoyed sharing stories and thoughts about film and will always invite interested parties down that dark and winding road.
